Like most specialty providers, I’m a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of session. If your insurance includes out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement.
As part of my commitment to make therapy more accessible, I accept a limited number of clients on a sliding-scale payment structure. Currently, all sliding scale spots are full.

I’m a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. This allows us to focus on your goals without insurance requirements shaping the length or focus of therapy. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement.

Yes of course! If you have out-of-network insurance benefits, you are welcome to use them.
I am happy to submit claims on your behalf (via a company called Thrizer) or provide you with a monthly superbill, so you can coordinate with your insurance company directly.
It’s important to note that this is only for individual clients, not Relational/Couple clients. -
Your out-of-network benefits are usually pretty straightforward to use. We have two options:
I partner with a company, Thrizer, who can submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf for a small fee. After you meet your deductible, you can decide whether or not you want to pay for our sessions in full. You have the option to either pay in full and wait for reimbursement or simply pay your co-insurance. Thrizer can cover the rest of our session cost for you while they wait for reimbursement from your insurance company.
Or if you prefer to deal with your insurance company yourself, I will provide you with a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You will be responsible for paying for each session in full at time of appointment.
We can discuss these options in more detail on an intro call and see what works best for you!
It’s important to note that this is only for individual clients, not Relational/Couple clients. -
Both! I see a mixture of in person on Fridays at my office in Belltown as well as virtually throughout the week.

Most people start with weekly sessions so I can really get to know you. After about four sessions, we’ll check in and find a rhythm that fits your life and what you’re wanting to work on- maybe that’s weekly, maybe it’s every other week. We’ll see, together.

Couples choose between 50-minute or 80-minute sessions. Many couples prefer 80 minutes because it gives us more time to slow down patterns, work through difficult moments, and leave with a clearer sense of what happened in the room.
-
Totally. Many couples start therapy because they feel disconnected, stuck in the same arguments, or more like roommates than partners, not always because they’re on the verge of ending the relationship. Therapy can be useful before things reach a crisis point.
